Refunds and Cancellation Policy

1. Refund Eligibility

EduMentry offers refunds for course purchases under the following conditions:

  • Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of course purchase
  • You must not have completed more than 25% of the course content
  • You must not have downloaded or accessed downloadable course materials
  • You must not have attended more than 1 live session (if applicable)
  • You must not have accessed more than 25% of Zoom meeting recordings
  • Refund requests must be submitted through our official support channel (support@edumentry.com)
  • Refunds are processed in the same currency as the original payment

2. Refund Process

2.1 How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact our support team at support@edumentry.com
  2. Provide your order number and course details
  3. Explain the reason for your refund request
  4. Wait for our team to review your request (typically within 2-3 business days)

2.2 Refund Processing Time

Once your refund request is approved:

  • Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used
  • You will receive an email confirmation once the refund is processed
  • Bank processing times may vary depending on your financial institution

3. Non-Refundable Items

The following items are not eligible for refunds:

  • Courses that have been completed (100% progress)
  • Courses where more than 25% of content has been accessed
  • Downloadable course materials that have been downloaded
  • Certificates that have been issued
  • Courses purchased more than 7 days ago
  • Free courses
  • Gift card purchases (subject to separate terms)
  • Live sessions that have already been conducted
  • Zoom meeting recordings that have been accessed beyond 25%
  • Courses where you have submitted assignments or taken quizzes
  • Courses enrolled through organizational bulk purchases (subject to organizational policies)

4. Cancellation Policy

4.1 Course Cancellation by Student

You may cancel your course enrollment at any time. However:

  • Cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund
  • Refund eligibility is subject to the terms outlined in Section 1
  • Upon cancellation, you will lose access to course materials
  • Your progress will be saved if you re-enroll within 30 days

4.2 Course Cancellation by EduMentry

In rare cases, we may cancel a course due to:

  • Technical issues or platform maintenance
  • Instructor unavailability
  • Content policy violations
  • Legal or compliance requirements

If we cancel a course you've enrolled in, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to an equivalent course.

5. Partial Refunds

In certain circumstances, we may offer partial refunds:

  • If you've accessed between 25-50% of course content, you may be eligible for a 50% refund
  • If technical issues prevent you from accessing course content
  • If course content significantly differs from the course description
  • All partial refunds are subject to review and approval

6. Subscription Cancellations

If you have a subscription-based course access:

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • You will retain access until the end of your paid period
  • No refunds are provided for unused portions of subscription periods

7. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback through your bank or credit card company:

  • Your account may be suspended pending investigation
  • We reserve the right to dispute chargebacks with appropriate documentation
  • We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any issues
  • Chargeback fees may apply

8. Currency and Payment Methods

Refunds will be processed:

  • In the same currency as the original payment
  • To the original payment method used
  • Exchange rates at the time of refund may differ from purchase
  • Processing fees may be deducted in certain cases

9. Dispute Resolution

If you are not satisfied with our refund decision:

  • You may request a review by our support team
  • Provide additional documentation or evidence to support your case
  • We will review your case within 5 business days
  • Our decision is final, but we are committed to fair resolution

10. Refund Methods

Refunds will be processed using the following methods:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: Refunds are processed to the original card within 5-7 business days
  • UPI Payments: Refunds are processed to the original UPI ID within 3-5 business days
  • Net Banking: Refunds are processed to the original bank account within 5-7 business days
  • Wallet Payments: Refunds are processed to the original wallet within 2-3 business days
  • Processing times may vary based on your financial institution
  • You will receive an email confirmation once the refund is initiated
